Hi, I'm Dana, and I'm glad you're here. I'm a senior portrait and fine art photographer located in Orlando, FL.
I love bold color. . . high contrast black and white. . . simple, uncluttered frames. . . and beautiful light. I shoot with a Canon 6D and a variety of prime lenses. And if my house was on fire and all of my people were out, the next thing I'd grab would be my camera bag. No contest.
I love to travel and am fascinated by people and cultures. I spent 7 years living in Bangkok, Thailand and speak Thai fluently. If you'd like to go out for some pad thai or spicy panang curry, count me in! I'm happiest roaming city streets with my camera or having coffee with a close friend. And perhaps most importantly, I'm a mom to four teens. These days, my life feels like one crazy, busy blur.
In what seems like another life, I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. This served me well during many years of homeschooling my own kids, but this fall I'm returning to the classroom to teach photography to elementary and middle school students. I expect to learn as much from them as they learn from me.
I'm honored to be a member of Click Pro, a modern network of highly skilled professional photographers and independent artists. I contribute to our group blog, The Daily Project and also share my work regularly on Instagram.
I take a very limited number of portrait sessions each month, and 100% of the proceeds from my portrait sessions benefit non-profit work around the world. Use the contact form below to request more details. I would love to capture beautiful memories for you.
